OY. That's the only word I feel like muttering. I spent just over 5 hours in the emergency room yesterday and made practically no progress whatsoever. Before you start worrying (and please don't-I’m only telling you about my knee because it’s a funny story), you should know that it wasn't necessarily a real serious emergency. However, my parents were really beginning to worry since the pain in my knee has been worsening every day. I had a couple blood tests done to check if there were blood clots, and then some more x-rays. They still had no answer. I asked for an MRI, but they said that I'd have to make an appointment (and the soonest opening is supposedly in May -- YEAH RIGHT!). I walked out of there with a brand new....UGLY CANE. I know that some of you are upset with me since the smartest thing to do would be to walk around with it, but I cannot bring myself to do it. I'm sorry. Yes, I'm stupid when it comes to my health, but that's not surprising...I've been that way for years. I can’t do it! I’d rather limp my way around than walk at a snail’s pace – thankyouverymuch.

I also got my glasses! I never thought that I would be this excited to get glasses. I don't have to wear them at all times, but they are for my slight nearsightedness. However....with the addition of glasses AND a cane this past weekend, I feel like I added on about 60 years to my real age. Yaaaaaayyyy.....

BY THE WAY.....THANK YOU, DANI ---- You put so much effort into that helpful email. What a true friend you are......
