Well folks, this has been an interesting past few weeks of my life. I am going through so many transitions right now that I couldn't even begin to explain them to you. I suppose the main thing is that I am keeping my feet on the ground and remaining focused. I am meeting so many new people -- all of which are teaching me a great deal about myself.
I'm still puzzled as to how I am juggling TEN classes right now, plus holding down my tutoring job, but let's hope my strength lasts! The only real news I can report to you is that I will be resting from recording for at least a little while, but I will hopefully be gigging soon in the Boston area. I'll let you know when and where that'll be when the time comes. I'm rehearsing twice a week for the upcoming International Folk Festival in the Berklee Performance Center on March 24, 2005. All of you (who are in Boston) should plan to be there. I was stunned at how entertaining the performers were last year, and I can hardly believe that I'll be on the BPC stage with some of my very best friends in a matter of weeks.
For those of you who have been following up on my Dad's condition, thank you. He is doing okay, but he's still suffering from a great deal of pains from the surgery. He just had half a dozen medical tests done and it seems that he is okay from the inside out. Now the pain just needs to start to diminish! I'm hoping that he'll be well enough to fly out to Boston with my mom for the Folk Festival.
Tori Amos just came out with a new album, so I encourage all of you to buy it! She's fantastic! I'll be in touch soon! Take care, all!
