This is a man I met at the Massachusetts Coalition to Save Darfur Rally at Boston City Hall. He is a survivor of the unfathomable genocide that is taking place in Darfur, Sudan. He barely escaped,but many of family members were murdered. He now works with troubled youth here in South Boston.
Here I am, speaking to him about my aspirations to combine mainstream music with humanitarian causes around the world. What a fascinating human being he is!
