A Picture Says a Thousand Words...
Well, a couple of guys I know decided to conveniently take several pics with me crying in the background. Must've thought we looked hot or something. Guys. You're always the same. Well, I figured I might as well post this picture since it basically led me to leave NYC a day early. Ughh..... I spent way too much time in that damn room and with the eyes on the walls, I was feeling like I could go crazy... I didn't even make it to the dance floor for more than 30 seconds.
All in all, I'm 100% DONE with all the bullshit, and my recent ex is non-existent to me and will continue to be just that for the rest of my life. Sadly, I may now have lost someone else who I'd thought would continue to be important in my life.

i'm not sure if you believe in fate, but it all works out in the end.
it's better to find out about your ex's indiscretions now and cut him out of your life than later on.
don't think of it as losing someone you care about--think of it as removing an abscess that was only a source of pain.
with that said, hope you had fun in nyc. did you eat any "street meat" (ie hotdog vendors)?
Brie eating hotdogs from a vendor... You dont know her very well eh? I bet shes making a prune face at the thought of that as she reads it.
ha, that's funny because it's up for interpretations.
But seriously, does that mean Brianne is a vegetarian?
If not a total vegetarian I'm pretty sure she's damn close.
hmm...I'd like to know her reasons. I'm feeling particularly Alceste-like today.
Yup, I've been completely vegetarian for almost 16 months now. However, in terms of the vendors in NYC, what I REALLY wanted was a nice, warm pretzel, but unfortunately I never got to get one. :-( The vendors seemed to like my smile though... hahaha... they kept commenting on it.
While it is easy to understand the vegetarian sentiment, I fail to understand the rationale of vegetarianism.
It seems to me that you can not touch the earth without destroying something precious. To live or to allow another being to live is to bereft another of its existence.
I think it's ironic that most living things, not just humans, belong to the second group. The difference, naturally, is that humans are aware (hopefully) of their actions.
A morbidly humorous thing to note: If people really wishes to be life-efficient, they really should take up cannibalism and scavangery because one should never waste food. If we follow that sordidly sophistical logic, a vegetarian can not be truly life-efficient.
