Three generations, Four great women.... (from L to R, Auntie Barbara, Krys (Mom) Widaman, Maria Proczka (Grandmother), and me in the back)
My grandmother is a Holocaust survivor (not Jewish, but Polish)... Her family was trying to help Jews during WWII and they were caught hiding them in their basement. She and her family were taken to camps, and later my grandmother escaped with her sister. She then joined the Polish Army where she met my grandfather, a Polish General. AMAZING WOMAN. She's been through A LOT in her life.... I'm so proud to have such strong women in my family.
