From the Mind of Brie

A look into my life, my thoughts and beliefs, and anything else that comes up. You will be able to follow along the path leading into my future -- whatever that might be...

Sometimes you don't know just how happy you could potentially be until you stop fooling yourself. Fear is what traps you and keeps you captive. Fear is what tries to convince you that you're not good enough and that things will never improve. I won't try and pretend that there isn't some form of truth to every fear - similar to the way there is some truth to every stereotype, but we can only move forward in our lives after we've looked at our fears square in the face, and said "no" directly to them. Look at your fears. Tear them down. Give yourself permission to know what your life COULD be. You MUSTN'T go another day without knowing your potential.

Lately, I've had a bouce to my step. I've had a smile on my face for seemingly no reason. I've felt a free-flying joy in my heart. And as my 23rd birthday approaches, I feel so in touch with myself as, not a girl, but a woman. I love it.

It is my suggestion that everyone keep themselves in check. Are you happy? Are you sure? Sometimes you won't know how truly happy you could be unless you LET GO. Just let go. I'm beginning to see what my parents have been telling me throughout my entire life... more specifically my father. He always told me that I would one day come to realize my full potential, and slowly, that realization has been setting in. If you believe you could be unstoppable, you will be unstoppable. If you believe that you will take the world by storm, then you shall. I am happy. I am. And it feels so good to finally say that. *deep breath* YES!
