Wish I Could Share
Nina Storey and Brianne Widaman (me)...
Nina Storey is so talented, compassionate, and a joy to meet. She seemed just as excited to meet me as I was to meet her, though her voice could blow me out of the water! She is extremely humble... Liz and I had a wonderful time meeting her after her show in L.A. @ Molly Malone's (a local well-known Irish Pub).
It was bittersweet to meet and see her play last night. The whole reason I know of her and her music is because of a dear friend of mine with whom I haven't been on speaking terms for a while now. The whole time I was there, I was wishing I could call her and let her hear Nina's voice booming through the phone.
Some of her songs like "Crown", "Shades", and "No Man" are all ones that connected the two of us as sisters rather than just best friends...
it's hard to believe something (or someone, rather) has come between us.

brie... i love youuuuuuu! and we need to chill next semester!! promise meeee! we set a date asap! call me! you're a wonderful person.... always remember that! you're wonderful, beautiful, talented, sweet, smart, creative, the best heart, god... i could go on forever how awesome you are.... but you're a great person! soooo lets chill! haha! enjoy the rest of your break!
Wouldn’t it be better and healthier for you to just pick up the phone and break the wall of silence? Maybe this friend is feeling the same way and would love to hear from you. Not many things can come between true friendship. It’s a matter of accepting the other person, moving on from past mistakes and realizing why you became great friends with that person in the first place. Just some food for thought.
Just caught up on your blogs -- cannot begin to tell you how impressed I am with your maturity and your writing ability. It's one thing to begin to control your life and another to understand the process so thoroughly. I'm very proud.
