I just want to ask that everyone keep my sweet pup in your thoughts and prayers, in whatever form your prayers may be....

Teddy, or "Wings," as he was known to some, is entering the last stretch of his life, but the love and joy that he brought to the lives of so many will never cease nor will it be forgotten. Ask anyone who knew him, and they'd tell you the same. It doesn't seem fair that our pets have such short life spans in comparison to our own.

While it's painful to think of ever visiting my parents' home without having him there to greet me, I know that Teddy has been extremely loved and well cared for throughout his life -- and he always knew it. He's been very happy. From day one, he always listened intently whenever I sang at the top of my lungs, for I only did this when he and I were the only ones home. The last time I was visiting family in California, he gave me the gift of coming over and sitting under the piano right by my feet while I was singing and playing. He was always my best audience and my most dedicated fan.

I love you, Teddy Bear.... I'll be missing you forever, buddy....
