From the Mind of Brie

A look into my life, my thoughts and beliefs, and anything else that comes up. You will be able to follow along the path leading into my future -- whatever that might be...

So, you're all probably wondering why I haven't been keeping my promise in writing a blog... Well, I'm not exactly able to divulge any information. This campaign is far too important for me to release any information that might be used against us in any way, and as it goes, press will use whatever they can get their hands on in order to break a story.

All volunteers, interns, and organizers are not to post specific information from now until we elect Barack. So, with that said, I'll simply say that we're working incredibly hard (to put it mildly), I'm exhausted but remain seriously fired up and ready to go! and I can't wait for the next and final presidential debate taking place this coming Wednesday, October 15, 2008 9PM ET/6PM PT. Be sure to tune in... Sorry I cannot write more, guys... I promise to make up for it after the election.

Are you all registered and ready to vote? Most states' deadlines to register have either passed or are right around the corner! In Nevada, for instance, this coming Tuesday, Oct. 14th is the last day people can register in person at a county registrar office. Deadlines are a bit different in other states, so be sure to go to VoteForChange.com for more information on your state and the voting process, early voting and poll locations nearest to you.

My "mail-in ballot" [no longer called an absentee ballot] has gone in. Our voter registrar provides a serial number on the ballot for our reference.

After the election we can hit its Web site, input our special number, and get a report as to whether our vote was counted.

There is such an incredible grass roots movement in our nation by the Obama campaign. Turns out that Obama's experience as a community organizer is a strong plus for him.

The McCain camp is so on the defensive. As well it should be. I wish for our nation a wonderful president that Obama will be for us.

We respect and appreciate your hard work and sacrifice there in Nevada.
