So...
It was break time during my LSAT class tonight when I decided to walk across the street and get myself a nice, warm soy chai latte at Starbucks. I usually cringe when I think about how much money one ends up spending on these sorta things by the end of the year (which makes me happy that I don't do it all that often).
Annnnnnnyhoodle, tonight, it was worth the price. For one, the latte warmed me up during the next portion of the FOUR HOUR-long class, and two, it left me with an interesting quotation. I guess they print random quotes from Starbucks customers on their cups now???? So, here ya' go:
The Way I See It #76
"The irony of commitment is that it's deeply liberating - in work, in play, in love. The act frees you from the tyranny of your internal critic, from the fear that likes to dress itself up and parade around as rational hesitation. To commit is to remove your head as the barrier to your life." ~ Anne Morriss ~
Alright, now, despite what all you naysayers may say, I believe there are no coincidences... Especially since they gave me a grande instead of the tall that I'd ordered. I was supposed to get that wisdom #76! ;-)
Anyway, if nothing else, it's an interesting perspective, no?
All that aside, I must make a side note to this note. I have to admit that I much prefer Coffee Bean to Starbucks, so if I'm gonna give my left arm, it'll usually go to CB, and it's for one of those blueberry pomegranate soy tea lattes! Now, you may notice that this could imply that I have multiple left arms... and you'd be right... because I do.
(Psst... please don't panic, I'm just joking)
Did you note the boldness of the word "usually?" I think the LSAT is finally getting to me. I've inserted LSAT methodology into my blog... i.e. the word "usually" implies sometimes, but not always... which COULD mean only a couple times depending on how often I go to CB.... or... every time but this once.... or a majority of the time... which is at least more than half.... uuuugh.... No more logical reasoning. Time for bed.
