Well, a couple of guys I know decided to conveniently take several pics with me crying in the background. Must've thought we looked hot or something. Guys. You're always the same. Well, I figured I might as well post this picture since it basically led me to leave NYC a day early. Ughh..... I spent way too much time in that damn room and with the eyes on the walls, I was feeling like I could go crazy... I didn't even make it to the dance floor for more than 30 seconds.

All in all, I'm 100% DONE with all the bullshit, and my recent ex is non-existent to me and will continue to be just that for the rest of my life. Sadly, I may now have lost someone else who I'd thought would continue to be important in my life.

Acceptance -- it's the one thing that bridges the past and future so that they are peaceful neighbors...

I have finally come to a point where my bridge of acceptance is strong enough for me to cross into my future. I turn my head to reflect and look back at my past, then turn forward once more, and take my first strides into what is the rest of my life...

Painful experiences may seem insurmountable in the darkest of our days, but we can only emerge from that darkness with a greater understanding of what the word "strength" means to us...

This is the true face of renewal. This is the complete meaning of a new beginning. Look forward into the beauty of the unknown. The bridge of acceptance has served its purpose and you are free to run wild among the souls of your future. Welcome to your new world. Welcome to the other side. The light at the end of the tunnel that had seemed so far is now behind you, and the chains are undone.
